How we are helping our local community - SHFB

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we are experiencing unprecedented challenges as a community. To combat this, we have taken precautionary measures to ensure the health of our staff by encouraging work-from-home practices, and allocating our resources to ensure your orders are shipped within our normal processing timelines.

At uKnead, we are proud to give back to our community. We are donating a portion of sales proceeds to Second Harvest Food Bank OC, a member of Feeding America. Due to the current state of things, many children and families are struggling for their next meals due to school closures, loss of employment, or simply because their local stores have been emptied out by mass hoarders. We believe no one should go hungry, which is why we've contributed to the COVID-19 Relief Fund. This will help provide 14 Day emergency food packs, as well as essential household supplies to those most in need.

During challenging times like this, we encourage you to do the same and find ways to give back to your local community, whether it be through donating to local relief efforts, or simply reaching out to an elderly neighbor to make sure everything's okay. Support local small businesses and restaurants, because they need our help now more than ever.

"We will get through this. We will be stronger, more compassionate, and more understanding as a result. We will take care of ourselves, our families, and our community." - Quote Unknown

Thank you for your support and patience. Stay safe, healthy, and strong!

-From all of us here at uKnead.
