Christmas 2020: Helping Bring Holiday Joy to our Local Community

Christmas is looking a little different this year for some families.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, and devastating wildfires here in California, our local community has been hit hard. Families with young children are struggling to maintain a sense of normalcy this holiday season. But with your help, we were able to contribute to the Spark of Love Toy Drive.

This year, over 30,000 toys have been requested. Which is why we chose the Spark of Love Toy Drive, organized by Orange County Fire Authorities and KWAVE, as our charity cause for this month.

If you made a purchase on our website in November, a portion of your purchase was put towards purchasing toys for children in need.

Now how's that for some feel-good shopping?

Toy donations will be distributed to non-profit organizations for redistrubution to families in need.

With your help, hopefully we'll be able to make Christmas a little brighter for some children and teenagers this unique year.

What we really all need this year, is a little more compassion, a little more empathy, and a little more respect for one another.

Thank you for being a part of our community, by supporting our mission.

We will continue supporting our local community in the ways that we know how. This week, we donated 500 medical grade masks, examination gloves, and disinfecting wipes, to UC Irvine School of Medicine here in Orange County.

UCI Medical Center, one of the largest hospitals in OC, is currently facing a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Physicians have spoken up about the lack of proper supplies in the face of COVID-19. While nurses protested their workplace safety on Friday Apr.3rd, stating some were instructed to wear the same mask for up to 2 weeks. The frontline care providers are putting their lives out there for us, while we stay-at-home. If you have any extra PPE, please consider donating to your local hospitals. It's the least we can do.

Thank you for being a part of our community, by supporting our mission. If you have friends and family in the healthcare frontline, please reach out to them on our behalf and tell them THANK YOU.

To everyone else, stay safe, strong, and healthy! We're all in this together!
